Several municipalities have developed their Transportation Resilience Plan, but only a few have moved beyond planning toward implementation.
Mani will share Durham Region's approach to flood risk assessment, which considers several factors, including the socio-economic impact, to improve the resilience of the transportation system in a changing climate. He will discuss how Durham’s riverine flood risk assessment identified the bridges and road segments that need improvement current and future flood risk scenarios.
