Infrastructure Ontario Market Update 2019, presented by Michael Lindsay, President, Project Delivery, Infrastructure Ontario

This year’s list confirms a number of new commitments made by the Ontario Government in its spring 2019 budget and during other announcements, including the Ontario Line and Toronto subway expansions. It includes a total of 32 P3 projects with 10 of these currently in procurement, and 22 in the pre-transaction phase.

Michael will provide an overview of the projects in the pipeline, focusing on roads and transit projects. He will discuss how IO is responding to potential market capacity issues and the trends in risk sharing in P3 projects. Michael will also provide an update of the business case on transit projects, and discuss the challenges of some of the projects.
